The United Australia Party’s membership base has surged past 70,000, making it the largest political party in Australia, Chairman Clive Palmer announced today.

“Our party has now passed the 70,000 members, making our base larger than that of Labor, the Liberals and the Greens,” Mr Palmer said.

“The number of Australians joining under the leadership of Craig Kelly is unprecedent in Australia’s history,” he said.

Mr Palmer said the huge influx of members to the United Australia Party was a clear indication that Australian voters were fed up with the status quo of the major parties.

“Under the major parties, we are seeing families break up, the economy declining and an increase in mental health problems.

“At this time Australia needs a truly representative government, we need strong leadership and the United Australia Party is the only party that can achieve this,” Mr Palmer said.

“United Australia Party Leader Craig Kelly and myself have a strong resolve to justify the faith our supporters have shown.

“With a strong field of candidates and our many thousands of members behind us, we will do our very best to win the next Federal Election.”

Mr Palmer said more than 1000 members had already nominated as candidates for the upcoming Federal Election, in which the United Australia Party will be contesting all 151 House of Representative seats and Senate positions across Australia.

“Our nation is crying out for help and the time has come to stand up and make a difference. It is clear by huge numbers of people who have joined the United Australia Party in recent weeks that Australians are fed up and want to change and support our great country,” Mr Palmer said.

Businessman Clive Palmer today confirmed that the Palmer Group of Companies had sold its entire stake of Qantas shares as a result of the airline’s stance on mandatory vaccinations for all staff.

“I believe that Alan Joyce and his Board have taken risks which could result in possible future legal ramifications,’’ Mr Palmer said.

“We have seen statistics in the TGA reports released by the Australian Federal Government which reveal hundreds of deaths and tens of thousands of adverse reactions from the vaccines.

“I believe the financial risks Qantas is taking over mandatory vaccinations of its staff leaves them exposed to future financial damages by staff who suffer side effects or worse,” Mr Palmer said.

“This is clearly an unacceptable future financial risk Qantas and its Board are taking.

“No one knows ultimately what the cost of damages may be over a longer period.

“I would encourage directors of other public companies to realise future financial exposure if staff are mandated to take vaccines which cause damages,” Mr Palmer said.

Chairman of the United Australia Party, Clive Palmer, has condemned attempts by the Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll to force police to vaccinate as un-Australian.

“All Australians should have the right to choose,” Mr Palmer said.

“I can foresee the Queensland Police Service and the Queensland Government risking financial claims in the future over mandated vaccinations.

“If these vaccines cause harm or death, then families will have the right to be fully compensated,” Mr Palmer said.

Mr Palmer said forcing police to vaccinate against their wishes breached the rules of natural justice and human rights.

“It is an assault on these men and women who should have the same rights as any Australian citizen.”

Mr Palmer said he supported the police service employees who showed great courage in bringing this matter before the Supreme Court.

“These people are concerned about their rights and their health. This matter is far more important than politics. The State Government wants to play politics, but politicians don’t face the daily responsibilities that our front-line workers do,” he said.

“The Police Commissioner is seeking to strip the rights that other citizens enjoy from Queensland police. She is seeking to give a directive against the Human Rights Act.

“Katarina Carroll should resign now as a result of this unlawful act. It is the government that relies on the police, and that now seeks to attack them,” Mr Palmer said.

The Federal Leader of the United Australia Party, Craig Kelly, and party Chairman Clive Palmer, have called for the abolition of state governments to save billions of dollars and improve efficiency.

“Australia is over-governed and over-legislated. We have far too many politicians and a duplication of roles,” Mr Kelly said.

“State politicians are out of touch. Increasing resources and expanding local governments would be a far better alternative for delivering meaningful and effective government to all Australians.

“Getting rid of unnecessary state governments would turn Australia into one efficient nation, comprising a federal government and expanded local councils.

“The duplication of departments and activities would be eliminated and the savings resulting from not paying the salaries and expenses of hundreds of needless politicians could be much better spent on improving services and the livelihoods of all Australians,” Mr Kelly said.

Clive Palmer has called for a referendum on abolishing state governments to be held at the same time as the next Federal Election.

“It is time for Australia to decide on whether they want a more unified and efficient system or to continue with wasteful, ineffective state governments,” Mr Palmer said.

“The United Australia Party wants a referendum on this issue so all Australians can have their say,” Mr Palmer said.

Chairman of the United Australia Party, Clive Palmer, has called on employers and heads of government stop instituting coercive practices forcing people to be vaccinated or lose their jobs.

“Thousands of distressed Australians are contacting the United Australia Party because they have been told ‘no jab, no job’ by their employer,” Mr Palmer said.

“These coercive measures are causing untold levels of anxiety, stress and financial hardship to innocent Australians.

“Many are public servants. They feel they have no voice and nowhere to turn. I want to assure all Australians that our party is here to listen and make a difference.

“We will fight to protect the values that have been built and developed in Australia since federation,” Mr Palmer said.

“It is undemocratic and wrong to deny any Australian their constitutional rights and freedoms because they choose not to take part in a vaccination program for personal or medical reasons.

“The data is clear. The virus doesn’t discriminate between those vaccinated and those not vaccinated. So-called ‘fully vaccinated’ people can be still be infected and can also pass the virus on to others,” he said.

Mr Palmer said that vaccination, therefore, had no impact on the ability of an individual to perform their workplace duties.

“Hundreds of people are contacting UAP every day as they feel they have nowhere else to turn. Nobody is helping them or even hearing them.

“It’s time employers and governments stopped to think about the havoc and distress they are causing in people’s lives,” Mr Palmer said.

UAP Chairman Clive Palmer says he welcomes the legal threats made by the head of the TGA, John Skerritt, against the Federal Leader of the United Australia Party, Craig Kelly.

“Any legal action against Craig Kelly or the United Australia Party will provide an opportunity to subpoena and cross examine John Skerritt and Greg Hunt about each of the 483 deaths which have been reported to the TGA and the 75 pages of over 46,000 reported adverse reactions.

“If John Skerrit seeks a legal confrontation by threatening to take Craig Kelly – a member of the House of Representatives who has sworn to protect all Australians – to court I am sure the truth will be revealed.

“All Mr Kelly did was publish the TGA’s own reports which all Australians have a right to know,” Mr Palmer said.

“The TGA report clearly highlights that the COVID-19 vaccine treatment has been responsible the deaths of 483 Australians and over 46,000 adverse reactions,” he said.

“We would welcome any chance to see Professor Skerritt cross-examined under oath so the truth can be heard about the vaccinations and the harmful effects they have on thousands of Australians.

“The United Australia Party would like to hold the Government to account for providing pharmaceutical companies with a full indemnity if they kill or cause harm to Australians being administered COVID vaccines,” Mr Palmer said.

“We would be questioning why the Government has given the pharmaceutical companies an indemnity for any claims related to the injuries and deaths their vaccines may cause.

“It should be concerning for all Australians that we don’t have the required one, three or five-year safety data for the use of this vaccine on humans or animals, and there has been no safety testing on pregnant women or children,” Mr Palmer said.

“History has shown that governments have often been wrong. That propaganda and cover-ups have often taken place. That millions have died because people in authority lack the courage and the proprietary to follow through with the principles and ethics of their calling,” Mr Palmer said.

“John Skerritt is incompetent and should resign from his position immediately.

“The Hight Court of Australia has reconfirmed the implied term in our constitution of political free speech.

“The United Australia Party is a registered political party under the electoral act and Craig Kelly is member of the House of Representatives and therefore has the right of free political communication with all Australians,” Mr Palmer said.

The Leader of the United Australia Party, Craig Kelly, has condemned the statements made by NSW Premier Berejiklian at her daily media conferences.

“When I heard the NSW Premier yesterday say she ‘would not want to be anywhere with someone who is not vaccinated’ and ‘we can’t afford to have unvaccinated people with mixing vaccinated people’, I was outraged and absolutely disgusted,” Mr Kelly said.

“I have never heard such despicable, vile, divisive, unscientific and discriminatory comments from Australian political leader.

“The evidence and the science from overseas clearly shows that a person’s chance of having COVID and their chances of spreading it to others, is very similar regardless of whether they’ve been injected twice or not at all,” he said.

“Domestic Vaccine Passports are useless because a person who is fully vaccinated can still get infected and the spread the virus to others.”

“Berejiklian’s shameful plan to turn NSW into a bio-medical security state, where ‘vaccine apartheid’ is the norm and citizens are forced to show their private medical records just to get cut a haircut makes Australia an international laughing stock,” Craig Kelly said.

“Berejiklian’s words today are a betrayal of everything that Australia stands for and I call on Liberal MPs to publicly disassociate themselves for these disgraceful, divisive and discriminatory comments.”
