AUSTRALIAN farmers would have had the drought assistance they needed promptly and efficiently if the proposed ‘Australia Fund’ had been set up in 2014, says United Australia Party Federal Leader Clive Palmer.

As the Member for Fairfax Mr Palmer introduced a private member’s bill to federal parliament seeking to establish an ‘Australia Fund’ to support the country’s rural and manufacturing industries with immediate assistance following natural disasters like drought, bushfires and floods. (more…)

UNITED Australia Party Federal Leader Clive Palmer has set a target for 20 percent of all vehicles to be running on ethanol-based fuel by the end of 2021, a six percent increase on current consumption levels.

UNITED Australia Party Federal Leader Clive Palmer says Australia is failing to maximise revenue from its prized mineral resources by continuing to send unprocessed ores overseas.

Mr Palmer said the United Australia Party’s downstream processing policy would see more stages of the mining process occur on Australian soil rather than offshore, resulting in much higher returns, along with stimulants for both economic growth and job creation. (more…)
