Clive Palmer: Craig Kelly will make a fine leader

Chairman of the United Australia Party, Clive Palmer, announced in Brisbane today that Craig Kelly MP had joined the party.

Mr Kelly has been elected by the party executive to be the national leader of the United Australia Party and will stand against Scott Morrison to be the next Prime Minister of Australia.

“The executive of the United Australia Party has announced that Craig Kelly has joined the party. Mr Kelly has been appointed party leader in the Lower House and endorsed as the United Australia Party’s candidate for Hughes in the next federal election,” Mr Palmer said.

“The United Australia Party will be fielding candidates for all Senate and House of Representatives positions across Australia.

“The time has come to change the Government,” Mr Palmer said.

“Our membership numbers continue to grow since we announced that our cornerstone policy at this difficult time in history is to stop lockdowns and open Australia up,” he said.

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the US has published that 74% of people hospitalised with COVID after a Massachusetts outbreak had been fully vaccinated.

“The hypocrisy of the Prime Minister and the NSW Premier is unbelievable.

“The evidence is clear that if you are vaccinated you can still pass the virus on which defeats the purpose of having it. The hopeless efforts in Australia are just an excuse for Premiers and the Federal Government to lock people up and rob them of their freedom and liberties,” Mr Palmer said.

“These politicians will be brought before the courts for breaching the law and the constitution.”

Mr Palmer said that now more than ever Australians need to vote for the United Australia Party to end lockdowns and re-establish business.

Mr Palmer said the United Australia Party believed in freedom of choice.

“When elected to government at the next Federal Election, our party will abolish the national cabinet, we will stimulate the economy and we will review the defence policy. We cannot have the Australian army policing its own citizens.

“I urge all Australians to get behind the United Australia Party, visit our website at www.unitedaustraliaparty.org.au and join our membership. Let’s take a stand and get ready for the upcoming election,” Mr Palmer said.

“We can never trust the Liberal or Labor parties again.”
