A new deal for Queensland
Only Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party can open the borders and deliver decisive leadership for Queensland, party chairman Clive Palmer said today.
“We are running candidates in 55 seats to shake the two-party duopoly and deliver a new deal for Queensland,’’ Mr Palmer said.
“I am very confident that our leader Greg Dowling and his team will bring economic prosperity for the long-term benefit of all Queenslanders.
“It’s time to give Labor the boot. In the last four years they have doubled the State’s debt from $60 billion to $120 billion.
“They have not brought down a budget and don’t have a plan, but you can bet it will be everyday Queenslanders that end up paying for Labor’s incompetence.
“The only way Labor can reduce its debt is by taking from Queensland families. They are out of ideas and have no policies that can deliver growth and a strong economic future for this State,’’ Mr Palmer said.
“Under a returned Labor Government, we will see family assets taken by the State with the death tax. Our children and grandchildren will have assets stolen from them after the hard efforts and endeavours of those before them,’’ Mr Palmer said.
“We need a new deal for Queensland. Under Greg Dowling, Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party will deliver economic growth and prosperity once elected.
“We need to stop the death tax, cut the red tape, eliminate payroll tax and eliminate land tax to make our State stronger and more competitive, and provide employment for our people
“The current government can’t do that, it doesn’t listen, it’s not interested in big projects and it has no idea about wealth creation,’’ he said.
