Jen Sackley: United Australia Party Townsville office a shopfront for new ideas
UNITED Australia Party secretary for North Queensland says the party’s new Townsville office is a shopfront for new ideas and greater representation for the people of the city.
Ms Sackley was joined by Federal Leader Clive Palmer and party Senate Leader Brian Burston at the official unveiling of the Denham Street office last week.
“This new office in Townsville is a statement of intent. The United Australia Party is establishing a strong presence in North Queensland to give people here the representation that has been sadly lacking for far too long,” Ms Sackley said.
“Like the rest of the country they’re sick and tired of petty politics blocking ideas and self-interest stalling progress.
“We’re here to say enough is enough and show people we are a real alternative to the chaotic, malevolent mess the two major parties have created in Canberra.
“We know how much regional Australia is suffering and our message is clear – we’re here to help and we’re here to make an impact.
“We encourage people to drop into the office and meet the team whose aim is to deliver the polices that will unite Australians behind a common goal – to get this country moving again and introduce ideas that will positively impact people’s lives,” Ms Sackley said.
The United Australia Party will bolster their presence and visibility in North Queensland with a new Cairns office soon to be announced.
