United Australia Party appoints Assistant State Directors for NSW

The United Australia Party has announced the appointment of NSW Assistant State Directors Suellen Wrightson and Nicole Smeltz.

The appointments bring a wealth of political, business and leadership experience to the party which will contest every seat in the upper and lower house at the next federal election.

Ms Wrightson has a strong political background having campaigned as a Federal Senate candidate for the Palmer United Party in 2013 and serving as an elected member of the Cessnock City Council from 2012-2015 where she was a member of the Joint Regional Planning Panel for the Hunter region.

“I am looking forward to working with Mr Palmer again and helping to make Australia great,” Ms Wrightson said.

Ms Smeltz brings a passion for politics and a strong skill set to the role, having worked across multiple industries.

Married to former A League footballer Shane Smeltz, Nicole has worked extensively in event management, as a first and business class cabin crew member with Qantas, in airline operations with Emirates and Etihad and in the real estate sector.

She said she was excited to be appointed Assistant NSW State Director for the United Australia Party and was looking forward to creating change for the better in Australia.

“I have always had a love of politics and I am very excited to be part of the United Australia Party.

“Clive Palmer is a very passionate Australian who is willing to give back to fellow Australians. Together we can achieve the extraordinary,’’ she said.
