Federal leader of the Palmer United Party and Member for Fairfax, Clive Palmer, says the Prime Minister has a great opportunity to bring intelligent women into cabinet.
Mr Palmer says former Howard government minister and member for Murray, Sharman Stone, is an outstanding parliamentarian and needs to be considered by the Prime Minister for a cabinet position.
“The same can also be said of Member for Brisbane Teresa Gambaro, who understands the economy and what it takes to make a positive contribution to the community,” Mr Palmer said.
“Both of these women have suffered under the previous regime because of petty jealousy from other women, and Australia is poorer because of it.
“It is now time for Australia to unite together and do the right thing, and both Sharman Stone and Teresa Gambaro have what it takes to make a difference for the country.”
