The United Australia Party has endorsed IT consultant Deepak Bansal as its second candidate for the Western Metro region in the Legislative Council for the upcoming Victorian election.

Mr Bansal is an IT professional consulting to the Public Service.

Born in India, he moved to Australia in 1999 through an employment transfer. He has since lived in Wyndham council area for over 20 years with his wife and two children and enjoys volunteering in the community as a cricket coach at Werribee cricket club and as a Justice of Peace duty at the local Library.

The United Australia Party is running candidates in all Victorian Upper House seats, vowing to deliver freedom to all Victorians.
