Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party has endorsed accounting, finance and business expert Jonathan Spaits as its candidate for Lytton in the upcoming Queensland election.

Over the last 20 years Jonathan has worked in a number of diverse roles from retail management, accounting, finance, business support and project development.

“I’ve always embraced innovation and change with my diverse work and life experience having positively shaped who I am today,’’ he said

“Recently I have been focused on building collaborative networks to support industry with a particular focus in the areas of biosecurity and biotechnology.  I understand the importance of building strong, open and honest relationships and through trust, respect and positive impact.

“I also believe actions speak louder than words and prefer to listen first and understand real problems before working together with the right people on productive solutions.”

Jonathan resides in Wynnum Manly with his wife and two young children.

“I really believe that the region has so much going for it now and well into the future.  From movie studios in Hemmant, Port of Brisbane growth, new developments across the bay and it also being a premier destination for those moving north to seek warmer climates.

“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to be the Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party Candidate for Lytton and look forward to meeting as many people in the region as possible and building relationships into the future,’’ he said.
