Business mentor and coach, Jacob Rush, will contest the inner western Brisbane seat of Maiwar for Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party in the Queensland election.

Born and bred in Queensland, Jacob is passionate about creating a better world for the vulnerable and disadvantaged in society.

“I have always wanted to help create a better world than the one we have inherited and since I have joined Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party, I have seen how this can be possible,” Jacob said.

“I’m passionate about my country and my state, having the opportunity to make a difference is something I take very seriously.

“I have listened to the young people in my region and I understand what they want and need to progress in their lives and contribute to society in a meaningful way.

“Most young people want to be supported in their choice of education and personal development.

“They want to develop their minds and skills so that they can have lives that reflect the Aussie lifestyle and values that make our country great.

“As a young entrepreneur, I have firsthand experience of the demands and sacrifices it takes to follow your own unique path and the young people in my region want to make it in their own way,’’ he said.

Jacob is the owner of a business mentoring and coaching business and has worked in a variety of other roles as a business owner, contractor and community volunteer.
