Born in Australia in 1971, Lela is of Serbian descent and having grown up in Fairfield City is a true local of the Fowler electorate.

Lela is a hard-working mother of five who is passionate about mental health and youth unemployment and a prime example of a confident and strong independent woman.

Lela attained a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics from the University of New South Wales in 1992 and pursued a career in Marketing.

With experience working for multiple iconic brands across Australia, Lela has held various management positions throughout her career.

Lela has always had an interest and fascination in politics and says she is now ready to pursue the next challenge in my life to fight for the Australian people and the community of Fowler in protecting their sovereignty and rights.

“It is beyond criminal what the Liberals have done to the electorate of Fowler with their policies of coercion, manipulation to submit to medical interventions,” she said.

They have crippled the construction and trade industry in the South West, where the majority of workers opted for the vaccination to save their job and provide for their family.

“I can no longer live and watch this tyranny unfold in our country stripping Australians of basic human rights, freedom and liberties.

“I strongly support the UAPs views and beliefs of, freedom over fear, liberty over lockdowns and choice over coercion,” she said.

Lela belongs to two church parishes where she volunteers and contributes to the hospitality group and says she is extremely proud of how our community has evolved over the years.

“The City has over 580 parks, three major transport networks linking our city to key metropolitan locations, the largest industrial estate (Smithfield/Wetherill Park) in Greater Sydney which is home to nearly 3,000 businesses and 20,000 jobs as well as local sporting clubs and places of worship,” she said.
