Kyle grew up on third generational family orchard on the North West Coast of Tasmania. At a young age he became passionate about serving his community and volunteered at the local fire brigade.
He started his career as a professional firefighter for the Tasmania Parks & Wildlife Service, where he worked across the state undertaking fuel reduction burns and responding to bushfires.
Kyle has worked in various public service roles including for Biosecurity Tasmania, where he helped protect Tasmania’s fruit Industry from Queensland Fruit Fly. He also worked for TasWater as Senior Emergency Management Advisor providing safe drinking water during the initial COVID response.
Kyle currently works for Tasmania Fire Service’s Bushfire Risk Unit, working with landowners and the Tasmanian community to undertake fuel reduction burns to mitigate the on-going threat of bushfires.
“Witnessing what is happening to this great country over the last two and a half years has ignited my passion to fight for the freedoms of all Australians,’’ Kyle said.
