Jane Hickey is a qualified primary school teacher, social worker, and family therapist.
She is a single mother and has four adopted children, two of which are from overseas.
International issues are incredibly important to Jane – she is an advocate for wrongfully imprisoned women, namely one in Sudan, and is a human rights advocate and freedom fighter.
She is passionate about helping others. She is an NDIS nominee and works as the director for an NDIS provider.
She was a supporter of the African National Congress (the party once led by Nelson Mandela in South Africa) in the 1980’s
Jane is also a born again Christian and member of two churches.
