51-year-old Elvis is a retired Australian professional mixed martial artist and pioneer of Australian martial arts. Born in Canberra to Croatian immigrant parents, Elvis now resides in Sydney, New South Wales.
A business owner for nearly 20 years, Elvis runs and owns Kings Academy of Martial Arts in South Western Sydney and has recently opened a UFC gym franchise in Macarthur Square, Campbelltown.
Elvis is the head of the UFC Gyms Australia BJJ Program, overseeing all the students grading requirements.
The UFC veteran worked at Fox Sports for four years as the head technical analyst on the UFC Fight Week show, where he discussed and broke down UFC fights and fight results as well as interviewed prominent UFC athletes.
Elvis has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Information Technology from the University of Canberra. Before turning his attention to his martial arts businesses, Elvis worked in IT for 10 years, employed by organisations such as Microsoft, Qantas, PwC, Coopers and Lybrand, the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) and Colonial Bank.
Elvis has not always been passionate about Australian politics, but his desire to get involved in a hands on capacity was emboldened by the government’s unconstitutional treatment of its citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic.
