Allan McLeod

Candidate for LINGIARI

[email protected]

Allan is a 37-year-old territory born candidate representing the constituents of Lingiari. He is one of four born to proud Territorian parents both witnesses to cyclone Tracey’s might.

In his younger years. Allan could be found on the mango farm mending fences and fabricating things, and thus he became good with his hands. This saw an almost natural progression into the trade he practices today; as a boilermaker welder. Allan’s trade and his success within it has seen him travel and work all over Australia leading and supervising on some of the biggest oil and gas projects this country has seen while also allowing him to work alongside industry leaders and some of the most skilled in his trade.

Alongside his career Allan has always had a great passion for community, it’s through things like uniting Church and others that Allan is able to liaise with the like-minded, community oriented people and hear some of their struggles and concerns of those around him.

Allan’s dedication and steadfast commitment to resolve sees him able to take ownership of concerns and act accordingly. If it meant the shirt off his back!

He has been involved with outreach programs and loves to get involved on a grass roots level with great knowledge of the territory and its resources. It leaves Allan in good stead to help those in need.
