Labor Is Rotten to the Core: Clive Palmer

Media release

The corruption findings against NSW ALP ministers show that the Labor Party is rotten to the core, says Palmer United Party federal leader Clive Palmer.

Mr Palmer said the corruption uncovered in NSW Labor by the Independent Commission Against Corruption is a disgrace to the entire Labor movement.

“The Labor Party is rotten to the core,” he said.

“Whatever action is taken by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to apply bandages to the stenching wounds of the NSW ALP won’t be enough to stem the distaste and distrust of Labor at a federal level.

“Labor doesn’t deserve to be in government anywhere in Australia.”

Mr Palmer said Australian voters were fed up with being taken for granted by the both Labor and the Coalition parties, whose policies were essentially the same.

“Australia needs a true change of government, one which brings fresh ideas and can look after the aspirations of all Australians,” he said.

“The only way to reinstate integrity in Australian politics is to vote for the Palmer United Party.”

The Palmer United Party plans to field candidates in all 150 House of Representative seats at the 2013 election as well as Senate teams in all states and territories.
